When I was pregnant I was forever looking for prams and I knew I really wanted one with a carrycot as I didn't have a carrycot with any of the previous prams I had with Mia and Elliw. I was extremley lucky to receive the gorgeous Vista pram from UPPAbaby. When I received the pram I couldn't wait to open it up and get it together. I was really shocked how easy it was put together and set up. I wrote my first thoughts of the UPPAbaby Vista pram a couple of months ago and it had a fantastic response. I've had many of people come up to me saying they had seen the post or photo on a social media site and saying the pram was nice. The next thing was to take Freddie for his walk.
I had actually taken Freddie for his first walk to a friend's house when he was 2 days old as my partner was out with the girls and I was really bored in the house. But I was really looking forward to take Freddie for his first walk in the Vista pram with me, my partner and the girls as a family. Seeing as my partner is off work for 2 weeks now due to paternity leave, he loves taking the girls out and I decided to go with them on the 5th day.
So, when Freddie was 5 days old we decided to go somewhere for a walk. We weren't quite sure where we wanted to go yet but in the end we decided to go to a place called Beaumaris in Angelsey which isn't too far from us. We had a picnic in the car before going out and I also fed Freddie before going out. The girls really wanted to eat outside but there were way too many seagulls around and some that had already attacked a few people eating on benches so we decided to stay in the car.
We walked down the pier and Elliw helped pushed the pram on the way up. It was really busy with people crabbing, walking and waiting to go on a boat. On our way back the girls wanted to play in the park so we went there so they could have a run around before going back home. It was really nice to get some fresh air and having our first outing as a family of five.
